Start with a conversation.
An initial discussion is confidential, costs nothing, and commits you to nothing. Write or call in English or Chinese — whichever is easier.
What to include in your first message
A few lines are enough. The more context you give, the more useful our first reply will be.
- What you are planning — setting up an entity, an acquisition, a dispute, a filing
- Where you and your counterparties are based
- The stage you have reached, if the matter is already underway
- Any deadline driving the timeline
- How you would prefer to be reached
We do not use an enquiry form: messages come straight to a partner's inbox, and are read by a person rather than a queue.
Three things worth knowing.
Confidentiality
Nothing you send is shared outside the firm. If we consider a conflict exists, we will say so at once and go no further.
Fees
We scope the work and confirm the basis — project, retainer or hourly — before any chargeable work begins.
Language
English and Chinese throughout. Documents can be prepared bilingually where a Chinese authority or counterparty requires it.
We aim to reply within one business day.
If your matter is urgent, call rather than email — the number reaches a mobile.
